Generating Billing Data (XML)

This section is relevant only for Cloud   Products/Entitlements.

Using this feature, you can download the billing data in XML format for the Products included in an Provisioning Container. The following Different type of billing details that you can view are:

>Itemized Billing: A descriptive bill that provides consumption details for a product on per feature per customer basis.

>Detailed Billing: It is less descriptive than the itemized bill and provides consumption details per feature.

>Brief Billing: It provides a brief summary of the products consumed within a specified period.

NOTE   The billing data is by no means the actual bill. However, this data can be used as a basis of generating bills. The data will need processing before it can be used for billing purposes.

To view billing data:

1.Select Entitlements > Provisioning Container. The Provisioning Container page opens.

2.In the Batch Code drop-down list select the Batch Code to which the Product belongs.If only one Batch Code is available, the Batch Code is displayed instead of the list.

3.Select the Provisioning Container to which the product belongs.

4.The bottom-right pane displays the associated Products. Select the Products for which you want to view billing data.

5.Click and select View Billing Data. The View Billing Data dialog box opens.

6.Select dates in the From and To fields to specify the duration for which you want to view the usage data.

7.From the list, select the type of bill you want to view.

8.Click Submit. The File Download dialog box opens.

9.Save the XML file containing the billing data.
